Journey from a Dairy Farm to an Art Sanctuary

Frances Margaret grew up on her family’s farm in Devon where she first realised her passion for horses and appreciation for art, but it wasn’t until her forties she realised her talent.

Crafting Beauty through Frances's Remarkable Sculpting Talents

Frances has been sculpting and painting for years, and during this time has been asked to create several commissions, as well as exhibiting at a number of prestigious shows, such as the Society of Equestrian Artists and Horse of the Year. Her sculptures can also be seen in the homes of horse lovers worldwide, including renowned Olympic rider Mary King and opera legend, Luciano Pavarotti.

One of Frances’ most meaningful commissions to date has been the life-size statue of a WWII Battle of Britain pilot for Exeter Airport, as her family had close connections with the airfield during the ar.

Retired and Forever Inspired

Now, in her retirement, her main wish for Sea View Art Barn is to provide a space where artists, both lesser-known and more established, can hold private exhibitions, so more people can appreciate and enjoy their work.

So, if you’re an artist looking to break out of the confines of your studio, Sea View Art Barn could become your exclusive canvas to showcase your creativity and to connect with other enthusiasts. Contact us today to find out more.
