Sea View Art Barn is delighted to join the Devon Open Studios trail this September, with an exciting exhibition by five diverse artists who all share a passion for creating in their own unique way. Open daily, Saturday 13th September – to Saturday 20th September 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The artists are South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts (SWAc) members Phil Creek, Julie Dunster and Alison Summerfield, plus designer Penny Silverthorne and sculptor Frances Margaret.
The worn stone walls of the historic barn will complement a cornucopia of artworks (in mediums ranging from sculpture, mixed media, acrylic, oil, charcoal and watercolour) and in subject matter ranging from figurative, abstract expressionist, equestrian, floral, coast, countryside and town, offering something for all art lovers.
During this exciting week, everyone is welcome to come and watch Phil Creek painting a demonstration of his techniques on Wednesday 17th September 10am -12.30pm. Each day, there will be at least one of the artists in attendance to have a relaxed chat with. Free onsite parking for gallery visitors. Please note that there are steps to the gallery. Card or cash payments will be welcome.
